Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Re: US Post Office prices in SDR's in the forums.

In a small way this mentions the SDR. I found it interesting and well worth reading. Perhaps thought it should be placed elsewhere.

Although lengthy, IMO every aspect is important.

I am curious how we can prepare for the introduction of the SDR, should this article be accurate.

I always thought the IMF was controlled by the USA, but the author suggests differently. It appears that the BRICS are ready to join. If this is correct we already have one world "government" and complete control by the elites.

IMF Now Ready To Slam The Door On The U.S. And The Dollar

...We expected such destabilization after the wrap-up of the Fed taper, and the markets have not disappointed so far. My position has always been that the taper of QE3 made very little sense in terms of maintaining the manipulated illusion of economic health — unless, of course, the Federal Reserve was implementing the taper in preparation for a renewed financial catastrophe. That is to say, the central bankers have established the lie of American fiscal recovery and then separated themselves from blame for the implosion they KNOW is coming. If the markets were to collapse while stimulus is officially active, the tragedy would be forever a millstone on the necks of the banksters. And we can’t have that now, can we?

Sorry Debsyl, but this writer is incapable of separating fact-from-fiction -- as evidenced by the idiocy I highlighted.

There has been no "tapering" of U.S. money-printing of any kind. As a matter of simple arithmetic; if there HAD been any tapering, the bubbles and Ponzi-schemes would have imploded. There has been no implosion, ipso facto there has been no "tapering".

This writer is writing about a world which DOES NOT EXIST. It might be interesting reading -- as fiction -- but I'm not going to try to separate which parts might have relevance from all the "analysis" that has been tainted by false assumptions.

Jeff Nielson created a new topic U.S. bombs Syria ALONE in the forums.
It appears that Europe's puppet-governments are finally showing signs of backing away from their servitude toward the Fourth Reich. This MIGHT have something to do with the fact it is now OBVIOUS that the U.S. wants to start World War III, and EUROPE would end up as the "battlefield" for much of that war.

With SOME Europeans still remembering the destruction of Europe which accompanied World War II; they are clearly showing concern that "history" (i.e. the One Bank's rigged, puppet-show0 is about to REPEAT. And so the U.S. bombs ALONE.

Latest data from Reuters shows that 97% of the war-crimes being committed in Syria and Iraq are SOLO U.S. bombing runs.
The U.S. has been abandoned.

Today it's bombing Syria (alone). Who knows who tomorrow's target will be? Maybe the U.S. will convert one of its (supposed) "allies" into an "enemy" (via propaganda) -- and then bomb one of them? That would be one way to get its reluctant "allies" to once again start dropping their own bombs on the heads of innocent people...

As easy targets thin, Syria air strikes by U.S. allies plunge

As U.S. fighter jets pound Islamic State targets in Syria, Washington's coalition allies appear increasingly absent from the air war.

Although President Barack Obama's administration announced the Syrian air strikes three months ago as a joint campaign by Washington and its Arab allies, nearly 97 percent of the strikes in December have been carried out by the United States alone, according to U.S. military data provided to Reuters.

The data shows that U.S. allies have carried out just two air strikes in Syria in the first half of December, compared with 62 by the United States...

Jeff Nielson created a new topic Indian gold imports EXPLODE -- again in the forums.
Here we have yet more evidence that at least one of the principle motives of the One Bank in its savage manipulation/assault on the Russian ruble is to attempt to force Russia to sell some/most of its gold. Indian gold imports have once again exploded, to a level almost identical to when the One Bank blackmailed India, and forced its government to institute an import embargo -- starting last summer.

However, as noted here; that embargo FAILED -- miserably. Not only did gold smuggling replace much of the gold that was previously imported legally, it caused a massive stampede by Indians into PHYSICAL SILVER.

How India Evaded The One Bank’s Gold-Embargo
Gold-Squeeze In India Stokes Silver Demand

With the Banksters now UNDERSTANDING that they are essentially impotent when it comes to preventing the bullion-buying of the Indian population; THEY NEED MORE METAL. Thus it seems less and less "coincidental" (by the day) that this ultra-extreme economic terrorism directed at Russia happened to commence at the same time that Indian gold-buying once again exploded higher.

Indian gold on "phenomenal" rise

India's gold imports were over a staggering 150 tonnes in November and have seen a "phenomenal" rise in India according to India’s Trade Secretary, Rajeev Kher.

A few weeks ago we said that the death of the Indian gold market was greatly exaggerated. The latest gold import data out of India confirms this...

There are a couple of points of note in this brief news item. First of all; we have the announcement from Barrick "Gold" that it is shutting down its huge copper mine in Zambia. We're told by Barrick's management that this move is a direct response by the change (increase) in mining royalties, recently announced by Zambia's government.

What we don't know (lacking access to all the "numbers") is whether Zambia's new mining royalties are grossly excessive; OR whether this is just another example of a giant "multi-national" (i.e. One Bank-controlled) mining company playing "hard-ball" with Zambia's government.

Even with the old royalty structure; Barrick Lumwana copper mine produces significant revenues for Zambia's government. Thus these multi-national miners will often shut-down operations to attempt to force Third World governments to back-down from seeking a larger piece of the revenue pie from this copper resource -- their copper resource.

The other side-note here is that a source of my own with considerable knowledge of Barrick's operations strongly believes that Barrick is in serious financial trouble. And with copper prices depressed (like MOST resource prices), it may have actually been looking for an excuse to mothball this mine -- at least temporarily.

Certainly Barrick has already shut-down other mines, in what was admittedly nothing but pure "cost-cutting". And Barrick continues to face serious legal problems concerning its (illegal?) seizure of the Pascua Lama project/property, along the border of Chile and Argentina.

Thus (as of the writing) it's unclear whether the real significance of this news is simply the change in Zambia's mining laws, or whether Barrick itself (yet another one of the One Bank's corrupt, corporate "pets") is one step closer to going under...???

Barrick Suspends Lumwana As Zambia's Royalty Hikes Deemed Excessive

Barrick Gold Corp. (NYSE:ABX)(TSX:ABX) will suspend its Lumwana copper mine, located in Zambia, as the government has passed legislation that will see the country’s royalties rise from 6% to 20%. Barrick notes that while the corporate tax in the country was removed, a 20% gross royalty on revenue will be introduced Jan. 1, 2015. "The introduction of this royalty has left us with no choice but to initiate the process of suspending operations at Lumwana. Despite the progress we have made to reduce costs and improve efficiency at the mine, the economics of an operation such as Lumwana cannot support a 20 percent gross royalty, particularly in the current copper price environment," says Kelvin Dushnisky, co-president of Barrick...

I noticed an item at Basher Central this morning which seems to be of significance; I'm just still having problems working on the "translation" (lol). Here is the full headline at Kitco:

39 Tonnes Of Gold Reportedly Bought During Chinese Trading Day

But then note the "reporting" which accompanies it. And here we have to keep in mind that when it comes to the Corporate media; "reporting" generally equates with "lying".

Analysts from MSK (Switzerland) SA, note that gold’s rally started overnight during the Asian trading session as there was strong demand for physical gold seen in China. They add there were reports that 39 tonnes of gold was bought during the session.

What seems to be said here is that 39 tons of "physical gold" was bought (and sold) last night, during a single trading session of China's Shanghai Exchange. We have the phrase "strong demand for physical gold" immediately followed by "39 tonnes of gold was bought" -- but in separate sentences.

Now here is where things get confusing -- even for analysts like myself. When the Shanghai Gold Exchange was launched, it was billed as a "physical exchange" -- directly implying that every trade would (presently, or at some future date) be settled in physical bullion -- i.e. "100% delivery" on all trades.

At the time; I basically just rolled my eyes, because they probably said much the same things when the London and New York paper-fraud markets began "trading gold" themselves. But then we get a report like the one from Basher Central suggesting that "gold trading" (on the Shanghai Exchange) = "physical gold".

But then note the language from a different article, written on the day the Shanghai Exchange began its "physical gold trading":

One encouraging factor about the SGE and the SGE international platform is that there is a lot of physical gold flowing through the Exchange.

"A lot" of physical gold is traded. Lol!!! That could be 50% or 75%. Or it could be 10%, and still be "a lot", in comparison to the London/New York fraud markets. What we do know for sure is that there is NOT 100% delivery at the Shanghai Exchange, because "a lot" can never equal 100%, since we would then use the word "all", instead.

Naturally the Liars of the Western media are quite happy to portray the Shanghai Exchange as "a physical market" while it engages in paper trading -- it makes the paper-fraud markets of New York and London look more legitimate to agree with this false-advertising than to highlight yet more paper-called-gold trading.

While the Shanghai Gold Exchange may be "less fraudulent" than its criminal peers in London and New York, that is a far cry from it being a legitimate (100% physical) exchange.

Someone could be "less crazy" than Charles Manson, but that doesn't make them "sane"...

39 Tonnes Of Gold Reportedly Bought During Chinese Trading Day

Gold futures are off their highs and relatively unchanged for the day. As of 10:41 a.m EST, Comex February gold was trading at $1,194.2 an ounce, down about 50 cents, on the day. Analysts from MSK (Switzerland) SA, note that gold’s rally started overnight during the Asian trading session as there was strong demand for physical gold seen in China. They add there were reports that 39 tonnes of gold was bought during the session. However, the rally was not sustainable. “As we are accustomed to seeing recently, interest dropped off during the Chinese break before USD $1,200 was breached in the afternoon session,” they say. The analysts add that silver also pushed higher on the back of renewed gold demand from China.

China Moves To Dominate Gold Market With Physical Exchange

China is slowly moving to dominate the global gold market and it is important to join the dots regarding a few key recent developments in China relating to gold.

When the International Board of the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) was launched last Thursday September 18 during an evening trading session, it was notable that the first transactions were put through by a diverse group comprising HSBC, MKS (Switzerland), and the Chinese banks, ICBC, Bank of China and Bank of Communications.

MKS is the Geneva headquartered precious metals trading group that also owns the large PAMP refinery company in Switzerland...

Thomas Aquinas wrote:
Hi Jeff,

It's certainly worthy of note. One might speculate that when many of the smaller town/medium size banks have collapsed in the coming crash, the US Government/One Bank, may use the Post Office network as a compulsory hub for personal money accounts. This would be a in line with their centralising and control agenda.

Can't say for sure, but as you echo, we must be ever vigilant to the actions of our slave-masters.

Good thinking, T/A!

Yes, this is definitely a plausible theory. While our corrupt governments would have no chance of flogging this new, fraudulent "money" internationally; after our current fraudulent currencies have collapsed to worthlessness (their true value), it would not be beyond the thinking of these one-track psychopaths to push more of their paper -- on the same Zombies who accept/believe ANYTHING they are told.

And yes, as you point out; in some post-financial collapse, quasi-Armageddon, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that the lowly post office could assume a position of greater if (somehow/someway) the internet is destroyed, or simply blocked-off from our own access.

debsyl wrote:
I received the following from my Member of Parliament (Canada) to my query on the link I posted from USA Watchdog

This article was written from a US perspective, which as you know required taxpayer bail out. This was not the case in Canada. Canada has it’s own response which you can find here:

I selected two paragraphs which I thought were of interest. "Systematically important banks" are also knows as "too big to fail".

The Government is putting in place such a regime in Canada: Economic Action Plan 2013 announced a comprehensive risk management framework for Canada's domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs).[1] This framework includes enhanced supervision by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI—Canada's federal prudential regulator), the development of institution-specific recovery plans as well as resolution plans, higher capital requirements[2] and the development of a Taxpayer Protection and Bank Recapitalization (or "bail-in") regime.

The Taxpayer Protection and Bank Recapitalization regime for Canada's D-SIBs would allow for the expedient conversion of certain bank liabilities into regulatory capital when a D-SIB fails (i.e., at the point when the institution becomes non-viable). It would thus enable a resolution strategy that protects taxpayers by ensuring that losses are borne by shareholders and creditors of the failed bank while preserving the same legal entity and contracts of the bank (i.e., keeping it open or "continuing") and, in turn, maintaining the critical services the bank provides to its customers.

At point 18:29, on the link from USA Watchdog, Ellen Brown pointed out that she received .18 as interest on her money, thus she is considered a creditor of the bank.

Debsyl, this is precisely the "warning" I was delivering (as loudly and as often as possible) immediately after the Cyprus Steal. As I noted last year; Canada was the FIRST WESTERN NATION to formerly entrench bail-in provisions into its existing legal framework -- and even the current budget.

Stephen Harper’s Cyprus Blueprint For Canada

Let me quote from that piece, as I spell-out things in pretty vivid terms:

When Stephen Harper came to power, however, he had more on his mind than just breaking promises: he had an Agenda. A part of that agenda was to duplicate – as exactly as possible – the massive housing-bubble of the United States; the largest asset-bubble in history, which was followed by the largest “bail-out” package in economic history.

For interested readers, this plot has been described in detail in a previous commentary. For the purpose of this commentary; it’s not essential to know how Stephen Harper manufactured the Canadian housing-bubble (with the enthusiastic assistance of former Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney). It’s only essential to note the dates involved. Stephen Harper began constructing the Canadian housing-bubble after the U.S. bubble had already burst.

There can only be one thing worse than engaging in suicidally-reckless economic policy. This is to engage in suicidally-reckless economic policy after that policy has been exposed as such. The reason this is much, much worse should be obvious to all readers.

The bankers and politicians (of both parties) who manufactured the U.S. housing-bubble have at least “plausible deniability” on their side: they can pretend the U.S. housing-bubble was an “accident.” Stephen Harper has no such cover available to him. The dates involved make this clear that the Canadian housing-bubble is a premeditated betrayal of the entire Canadian population.

There are two, major distinctions between the U.S. and Canadian bubbles, apart from (perhaps) a difference in the level of premeditation. First and foremost, it was impossible for Stephen Harper to match the saturation-level of fraud which has permeated every nook-and-cranny of the U.S. housing sector – from rampant land-title fraud to (institutionalized) Liar’s Loans to literal “fraud factories”: companies being formed solely to custom-produce forged/fraudulent documents for the Wall Street banksters.

The other very important difference is that when the Wall Street crime syndicate and the Republican regime looted approximately $15 trillion from the U.S. financial system in direct hand-outs, (so-called) “0% loans”, infinite “loss guarantees”, and near-infinite tax-breaks there were no “bail-in” rules in place. Directly stealing from peoples’ accounts to indemnify their gambling-losses was merely a “wonderful fantasy” for U.S. banksters (at that time).

With Stephen Harper’s housing-bubble poised to burst – whenever Canada’s banksters choose to detonate it – the question becomes: how large will the subsequent looting be, with Canada’s “bail-in” rules officially carved in stone?

Being the good puppet that he is; Harper simply said that Canada would created "bail-in" rules precisely as suggested by the "Financial Stability Board". What is the Financial Stability Board? It is a corrupt club for senior Western bankers, created and operated by the Bank for International Settlements.

What is the Bank for International Settlements? It is the lynch-pin of the One Bank's crime empire. Officially it is known a "the central bank for central banks". Unofficially; it is the totally unregulated financial Black Hole which the One Bank uses to conduct the bulk of its (annual) $TRILLIONS in money-laundering. Indeed, the BIS was specifically created as the money-laundering vehicle which the One Bank needed to finance BOTH SIDES during World War II.

What did the FSB tell the puppet-governments of the West (like Stephen Harper's) to do with regard to "bail-ins"? Make it "legal" for the banksters to steal (literally) any/every kind of wealth in paper form:

No Paper Is Safe From A Bail-In: FSB

So, Debsyl, when that mindless puppet in Parliament sent you a letter saying that Canada's "bail-in rules" (i.e. legalized stealing) were "different" than those of the U.S., he was technically right.

Canada's rules are MUCH, MUCH WORSE than in the U.S. Put another way; when it comes to Traitors, no Traitor is a better Traitor (for the One Bank) than Stephen Harper. When it comes to the banksters; Harper has only one rule: "ask and Ye shall receive".

Debsyl, what we have here is simply someone with tunnel-vision, being interviewed by someone who doesn't have the analytical skills to separate plausible ideas from drivel. To answer your question; I immediately looked for the focal point for this nonsense, and found it:

“Normally, oil prices falling in a good economy like the 80’s and 90’s, where we have falling inflation and booming productivity and good demographic trends, this would be a good thing. It is a good thing for consumers and businesses, but it is a bad thing for financial markets and our whole debt structure. We have the greatest debt bubble in history. It’s the greatest asset bubble in history, including stocks, commodities, real estate and everything. The last time this bubble burst was in 2008 because of the subprime crises. A small tranche of loans went bad, and it triggered a whole debt crisis . . . that’s what I see. I see a fracking bubble here.

So we have two planks in Dent's argument:

Low oil prices will burst the "fracking bubble", and this will be the (proverbial) straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back with respect to our overall debt-bubbles.

What do we do whenever we analyze the argument of anyone? We immediately look for all of the UNSTATED ASSUMPTIONS. Generally, we don't need to find all of them, because once we find one or two (big) ones; these arguments generally fall apart. What are the unstated assumptions here?

That we're not already LIGHT YEARS PAST the point of insolvency? How can this be any "tipping point" for our debt-bubbles -- when we already leaped past that tipping-point in 2008??? The second, fatal assumption is actually alluded to by Dent himself:

...“Normally, oil prices falling in a good economy like the 80’s and 90’s..."

Why is this true? Because nearly every sector of our economy (except the energy sector) is positively affected by falling oil prices. Yet here we have some Clown with tunnel-vision claiming that the bursting of "the fracking bubble" is going to overwhelm all of that other positive influence of falling oil prices, throughout the broader economy.

Dent wouldn't happen to be from Texas, would he...???

Debsyl, to answer your own question, more generally; when you see two people reach opposite conclusions concerning the same facts, almost always it's because (at least) one of those two people has made a lot of crazy (and unstated) assumptions.

I still like this old line:

What happens when you "assume"? You make an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

Jeff Nielson created a new topic Men Who CHOOSE Not To Work: the NY Times in the forums.
I saw this originally at Zero Hedge, and thought it was worth posting here as well -- since I didn't see the NY Times article, upon which the Zero Hedge piece is based. Obviously (on one level) there are no surprises here; it's just more confirmation of the transformation of the Middle Class into the Working Poor for years.

However, we get this conclusion confirmed with somewhat different data points. Here is some of the data plucked out of that article by Zero Hedge. While this is U.S. data, it's fair to conclude that this reflects the reality in nearly all Western societies:

- Unemployment for U.S. males has TRIPLED since the 1960's (when this economic oppression commenced).

- 20% of "non-workers" now report themselves as "disabled", many multiples of previous levels, in terms of the total number of people. It's not that there has been a huge increase in "disabling" illnesses/injuries. Rather, with 100 MILLION PERMANENTLY UNEMPLOYED people across the West, employers won't touch anyone with less-than-perfect health. These people might as well be lepers.

- There has also been a huge increase in the number of "non-workers" who list themselves as students. As Zero Hedge points out, this is NOT because they think "higher education" is the path to prosperity. As I pointed out previously; for people who obtain post-secondary education, LESS THEN 50% will derive any financial/employment benefits from their education -- just mega-debts (i.e. debt-slavery).

But something which was not noted at Zero Hedge is that this is actually just more devious/malicious propaganda. Indeed, Zero Hedge actually called it "a shocking dose of truthfulness". Look at this malevolent title:

The Rise of Men Who Don’t Work, and What They Do Instead

Why is this "malicious propaganda", and not "shocking truthfulness"? Because of the phrase "men who don't work". What should the NY Times have written in the title if it had any intention (at all) of "truthfulness"?

The Rise of Men Who Can't Work, and What They Do Instead

The two titles have nearly opposite meanings. The propaganda title of the NY Times uses a permissive verb "don't". This directly implies that men are CHOOSING not to work.

However, let me repeat the reality: 100 MILLION PERMANENTLY UNEMPLOYED people across the Western world, and only a few million job openings -- either below-minimum-wage slave jobs, or jobs requiring specialty skills. Even if they would/could filled every job available; roughly 95% (19 out of every 20) unemployed people are NOT ALLOWED TO WORK (by our Traitor Governments).

Thus the only honest verb which the NY Times could have used in this title is a COERCIVE verb (like "can't"), because these men are forced to be "non-workers"; their only "choice" is what they do -- other than work. To understand this propaganda, read the NY Times article twice. First read it with the NY Times title: men who choose not to work, and what they do instead.

Then read the same article with my (honest) title: men who can't work, and what they are forced to do instead. I guarantee you that you will derive an entirely different interpretation of the NY Times article, just by changing that ONE WORD in the title.

What we see here is subtle propaganda, so subtle that is was missed completely by Zero Hedge, an entity with (generally) finely-tuned "radar" for such propaganda. This is why it is necessary to really focus whenever we come across anything from the Corporate media propaganda machine.

Very often, what seems to be "honesty" (at first glance) simply turns out to be a particularly devious lie. Contrast this with the obvious drivel published by the knuckle-draggers at Kitco (and also covered on the Forum):

Is Russia Selling Its Gold Reserves?

Here the propaganda agenda of Kitco is blurted out in the first line, following its absurd, sensational, and totally false headline:

Analysts appear mixed as to whether or not Russia could be selling its gold reserves to prop up its faltering currency and economy.

Obviously the propaganda drones at Kitco (and throughout the propaganda matrix) have been ordered to BRAINWASH the Zombies with the message that "Russia's economy is faltering", irrespective of whether there is any truth to this. It's brute-force propaganda -- like all brainwashing.

Conversely, with the NY Times article, we have a much more subtle form of lying. This is the work of a Professional Liar, one of the more highly-paid stooges of the Corporate Media. These Professional Liars are tasked with the job of "explaining" the destruction of our economies, the destruction of our societies, and the utter corruption/betrayal by our governments and other public officials.

Obviously there can be no "good answers" in attempting to explain the One Bank's crimes-against-humanity, thus the need for the Professional Liars. By SELECTIVELY plucking out facts, and then twisting them (sometimes with merely a single word); the Professional Liar is able to make one of the One Bank's crimes-against-humanity (100 million people not allowed to work) look like it's OUR OWN FAULT -- large numbers of men choosing not to work.

And when the Professional Liars have truths so ugly that (even with their own skills) there is no way to spin any "reason" why yet another problem is our fault; we get their (inane) Omnibus Lie: "it's the New Normal" -- it's no one's "fault", things are supposed to be like this.

It is very important when visiting any of the higher echelons of the propaganda machine (The Economist, NY Times, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, etc.) that we exercise a much higher degree of intellectual scrutiny of everything that we read. These are the headquarters of the Professional Liars, producers of "Grade A" propaganda.

Very devious. Very dangerous.

Jeff Nielson created a new topic "Is Russia Selling Its Gold Reserves?" in the forums.
Here's my nominee for the silliest piece of Russia-bashing from the Corporate media. Here is the one FACT contained in this whole piece of drivel:

According to weekly data provided by the Central Bank of Russia, as of Dec. 5, it held $416.2 billion, down from $420.5 billion reported a week earlier.

As everyone here knows; the portion of its reserves held in paper (still the vast majority) is basically worthless. Its gold holdings are not simply valuable, but in many respects represent "the economic future" of the economy. So which category of "reserve" would Russia have been ridding itself of???

Then a few paragraphs later we have this:

...Julian Jessop, head of commodity strategy at Capital Economics, said that the decline in Russia’s reserves is probably the result of the central bank selling other “low-yielding government bonds” that it is holding.

“I haven’t seen their foreign reserves but I don’t think that Russia is selling its gold. The last thing they would do is sell their gold,” he said.

Peter Hug, global trading director at Kitco Metals Inc., agreed. He said that at first glance it is unlikely that Russia would sell its gold.

No one at Kitco had any evidence at all to suggest Russia had sold even single ounce of gold. No one at Basher Central could offer any plausible reason why Russia would sell a single ounce -- while it has publicly BOUGHT a hundred tons or so over the past year.

So why did Kitco even publish this piece of vacuous drivel, and splash this ultra-sensational headline at the top? Just to give it an excuse to write the first line of this propaganda:

Analysts appear mixed as to whether or not Russia could be selling its gold reserves to prop up its faltering currency and economy.

This is precisely how a propaganda machine engages in brainwashing, although here we have a particularly clumsy and moronic attempt. Clearly, the Drones at Kitco (and throughout the Corporate media) have been instructed to publish the words "Russia's faltering economy" as often as possible, and preferably SEVERAL THOUSAND TIMES PER DAY.

The Kitco Clowns probably also get paid a small commission each time they publish the words (i.e. brainwashing) "selling their gold" (lol); and so by publishing this piece, not only would they have earned a pat on the head from their Masters, but they would have probably been given a sucker, as well.

Understand how brainwashing works; it is ultra-simplistic, brute force conditioning. Literally all you do is repeat the same lie again and again and again and again and again and again...(well, you get the picture).

The Liars (and their Masters) know that if you repeat ANY lie often enough; the vast majority of all people (even many of supposed "high intelligence") will simply accept the lie as fact.

Publish/broadcast "Russia's faltering economy" 10 million or 20 million or 100 million times, and even most (relatively) intelligent and (relatively) "independent-thinkin" individuals will simply incorporate this 'fact' into their own minds, and parrot it to others, or simply use it as a "reason" in their own thinking.

Publish/broadcast the phrase "selling their gold" 10 million or 20 million or 100 times; and even many die-hard Longs will start getting the itch to "lighten their load", or (at best) it will make it harder for them to pull-the-trigger in buying more gold.

This is one of the reasons why I altered my posting habits, and posting frequency here on the Forum. It becomes counter-productive for me to point out/explain how and why a particular piece of Corporate media trash is just more brainwashing if I also then REPEAT THE BRAINWASHING myself, in order to debunk it.

All the same; it's still useful to engage in exercises like this occasionally, especially since clumsy/obvious examples of brainwashing such as this make it easy to illustrate the analytical points. Indeed, if you want to UNDERSTAND THE AGENDA of the One Bank/Old World Order/Fourth Reich (pick your paradigm); you will have gone a long ways toward the end of that journey simply by noting the phrases/buzzwords which get used the most in its propaganda/brainwashing:

"New Normal"
"low inflation"
"too-low inflation" [LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
"U.S. recovery" [LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
"Russia's faltering economy"
"combatting terrorism"
"selling their gold"
"Homeland Security"

...undoubtedly readers could add plenty of their own items to this list. And then we have the corresponding brainwashing in the Alternative Media:

"New World Order"
"carbon-tax credit conspiracy"
[most of what comes out of Jim Rickard's mouth]

This is the primary mechanism for creating the Wonderland Matrix. Each "brick" and "plank" of this virtual world, into which a BILLION or so Drones have already plugged-in their minds (voluntarily) was "built" in this manner: repeating Lies again and again and again and again and again...

Is Russia Selling Its Gold Reserves?

Analysts appear mixed as to whether or not Russia could be selling its gold reserves to prop up its faltering currency and economy.

Speculation started to rise on the size of Russia’s gold holdings Thursday, after news agencies reported a drop in the Russian Federation’s international foreign reserves. According to weekly data provided by the Central Bank of Russia, as of Dec. 5, it held $416.2 billion, down from $420.5 billion reported a week earlier...

Lol Earl!!!

While no one thinks that QE II has been going around doing her own "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" adventuring; as an inquiring mind, I do have two questions about this news item.

1) Who recognized this as "a magic mushroom"?
2) How did they know it was a magic mushroom?

...and why not a third, bonus question:

3) Has anyone previously been "harvesting" this crop...???

12:24 PM
Sorry Earl, but Thomas Aquinas beat you to the punch with that one...

However, this gives me a perfect opportunity to make a request. A lot of Forum posting ends up in the "Off Topic" section, including a fair number of my own posts. Some of this is definitely appropriate, but (at least in my view) quite a few posts could (should?) be place into one of our specific categories.

There are a few reasons to make an effort to do a little more organizing/classifying. While avid readers/users of the Forum probably look at everything; more casual users may only choose to "surf" one or two categories here. I know with a lot of the Off Topic posts I think (and remark) that the material is "very interesting" -- and it is. But that usually also is an indication that there is a better place for these posts.

The other reason to make the effort is so we reduce duplication. If we just kind of dump everything into "off topic", then it makes it hard (for anyone without a perfect memory - lol) to remember whether an item-of-interest has made it onto the Forum, or not.

When it comes to picking a section; don't worry if your choice (in hindsight) seems less-than-perfect. If anything ever looks seriously out of place; I have a "move" function (as Administrator), and can take it out of one section and put it somewhere else.

I don't do that very often, and I haven't been doing it with a lot of the Off Topic posts, because I don't want to look like too much of a nit-picker. I already project that aura with the way I dissect the content of posts (lol!). I would look just a little too "Nazi" if not only was I dissecting even small details in the work of other writers, but also moving those posts all around the Forum while I did so...

So let's try to be a little more librarian-like in our posting, because even with very interesting subjects like this; once is enough...

Jeff Nielson replied to the topic Re: The House Just Passed A 1,603-Page Bill in the forums.
OK Earl, call me "slow", but it just finally dawns on me precisely how useful it is (for the One Bank) for the U.S. to have its absurd "debt ceiling". Previously I had always described it as a "pointless" exercise, in addition to a ridiculous farce.

But now I see it's beauty. Firstly it is pointless farce, yet another "shiny bead" to distract the Zombies from substantive issues of importance. But secondly, it's simply manufacturing another opportunity for the Traitor Politicians to rob-through-legislation. Recall once again the words of Charles Lindbergh, from nearly 100 years ago:

They proclaim good, and do evil.

They shout "we've saved the government from another (totally artificial) crisis". Meanwhile, all that is actually done by the "deal" (and needless piece of legislation) are more acts of stealing for the One Bank.

It is one of the most-vile perversions of U.S. pseudo-democracy that these "riders" or "earmarks" are even allowed. It's STEALTH legislation. Slipping through a piece of new law (and often several) without ever even being required to proclaim the TITLE of that new law to the people.

It is one of the best forms of evidence of how long the U.S. has had a Zombie population that very few of the Zombies even understand that this is an issue.

The only thing more pathetic than this is that for most of those decades; the Zombies have boasted that the U.S. had "the best democracy" in the world.

Assuming that the Zombies could actually figure out/understand that the U.S. has the world's worst, most-corrupt "democracy", what would they even do...???

Earl wrote:
John Lennon; (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980)

Naturally this begs the question: was the One Bank behind this death, as well...?

Carlton "Carly" Barrett (17 December 1950 – 17 April 1987) was an influential reggae drummer and percussion player. His musical development in the early years was with his brother Aston "Family Man" Barrett as a member of Lee "Scratch" Perry's "house band" The Upsetters. The brothers joined Bob Marley and The Wailers around 1970. He wrote the well known Bob Marley song "War" and with his brother Aston co-wrote "Talkin' Blues". Carlton Barrett is featured on all the albums recorded by the Wailers. Barrett popularised the one drop rhythm, a percussive drumming style created by Winston Grennan. With Carly's beats and his brother Aston's bass, the Wailer rhythm section planted the seeds of today's international reggae. Barrett was murdered outside his home in Jamaica on 17 April 1987.

Though original Wailers Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston left the group in 1973, Carlton and Aston remained with Bob Marley and went on to record Natty Dread in 1974. Carlton has songwriting credits for two of Natty Dread's songs: "Talkin' Blues" and "Them Belly Full".

On 17 April 1987, just as Carlton arrived at his Kingston home and walked across his yard, a gunman stepped up behind him and shot him twice in the head. He was dead on arrival at a Kingston hospital at age 36.

Shortly after his murder, Carlton's wife, Albertine, her lover, a taxi driver named Glenroy Carter, and another man, Junior Neil, were arrested and charged with his killing. Albertine and Carter escaped the murder charge, and were instead convicted and sentenced to 7 years for conspiracy. After just one year in prison, they were released in December 1992 on a legal technicality...

Thanks for the original fact-finding Earl. I never knew those details until now. I (like so many people) had simply regarded Lennon's death as the ultimate "senseless act", like (deliberately) stepping on a flower. Because of that; I never had any motivation to actually focus on "the official story".

It sure starts to stink, once you do look at the details, doesn't it???

Because "the minstrels" of our society are not really/directly a part of the System; they have always tended to possess an element of objectivity, because of that detachment. As such; they REFLECT REALITY back to us with their lyrics.

However, in the Wonderland Matrix; it is of utmost importance to the Psychopaths that we have as little access to (and thus understanding of) reality as possible. If we think of the Minstrel as a "mirror"; what we seem to have here is a mirror being shattered -- because the reflection it produced shone too brightly.

Dylan wrote:
I attempted an analogy in a thread a couple of years back called "The Trillion dollar coin toss."
It could be perhaps boiled down to this:

One tentacle borrows at low interest (newly created money from nothing) a trillion dollars.
Another tentacle borrows at low interest (newly created money from nothing) a trillion dollars.
The tentacles each put their money down on a bet over a toin coss.
The one tentacle bets tails the other tentacle bets heads.
The coin is in fact a double-headed coin.
This is important - the tails-betting tentacle knows the coin is double-headed. It is in on the rigged bet.
The head-betting tentacle pays off it`s loan and stashes the remaining trillion dollars on an island free from regulations, prying eyes and taxes.
The tails-betting tentacle turns to it`s cronies in government who create more money to pay off the loan. It has been operating all along under the assurance that this would happen. The government cronies are in on the rigged bet. They tell the public that these "debts" (which are in fact utterly fraudulent) of the tentacle have to be paid off or the sky will fall.
The public undergoes austerity fascism in order to "sterilise" the newly created trillion dollars which have in effect been handed to the ONE OCTOPUS.

So not only do they counterfeit money and hand it to themselves, they also extort money from the masses to sterilise this newly created money through convincing the sheep that they are on the losing side of a giant bet that in reality is a completely rigged bet that they have been forced to participate in.

They were never in any kind of trouble. It was simply a giant wealth de-distribution racket. What could these Plutocrats possibly want with more money to add to their infinite reserves?
That is looking at it the wrong way round. What they really want is to impoverish the sheep so that the vast wealth that they already have, has more pulling power. It`s to keep the feudal pyramid intact.

Yes Dylan, the important thing here is simply that people realize that this whole bail-out/bail-in game is nothing but a gigantic fraud/extortion scam. There never should have been a single dollar of "bail out" money (even if losses existed), because such welfare could never be justified under any circumstances.

Beyond that; there is not even any debate regarding "bail-ins". This is just flagrant stealing: trustees being ROBBED by the trust administrators -- with our Traitor Governments rubber-stamping the fraud with their veneer of legitimacy (since that's all the "legitimacy" our governments retain).

We already had an enormous motive to move our wealth out of the banksters' fraudulent paper instruments: the "inflation" they use to relentlessly, indirectly rob from us through currency dilution. But now we have this Crime Syndicate also stealing our paper DIRECTLY. That's two gigantic incentives to move our wealth out of paper and into gold and silver (metal).

Two of the most-common themes in my writing are that the One Bank has a Master Trading Algorithm which it uses to control/manipulate all of the world's markets. AND that perhaps its most frequent (and serious) form of market-manipulation was the manipulation of global currencies (and currency markets).

So call me "the least surprised person in the world", as I look at the news this morning and see this headline:

Lawsky Said to Probe Barclays, Deutsche Bank FX Algorithm

...followed by this excerpt:

New York regulators have found evidence that Barclays Plc (BARC) and Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) may have used algorithms on their trading platforms to manipulate foreign-exchange rates, a person with knowledge of the investigation said.

I'll almost certainly have more to say about this later, but for now, readers can scan the details (and confirmation) of what has been said again and again here for themselves.

Yet another of the One Bank's mega-crimes starts to come out of the shadows. And if blind/deaf/dumb regulators finally begin to see the OBVIOUS manipulative potential of these algorithms (not to mention the evidence of what they do all around us), then the One Bank's days of "Pied Piper markets" may be coming to an end...

Lawsky Said to Probe Barclays, Deutsche Bank FX Algorithm

New York regulators have found evidence that Barclays Plc (BARC) and Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) may have used algorithms on their trading platforms to manipulate foreign-exchange rates, a person with knowledge of the investigation said.

The practice suggests there may be a systemic problem involving automated tools that goes beyond individuals colluding to rig currency benchmarks and take advantage of less sophisticated clients...

Debsyl, as I was discussing recently (can't remember where?); these "circuit-breakers" have been popping up in markets all across the corrupt West. The only surprise here is that precious metals markets didn't get the first circuit-breaker.

What you have to understand is that with the One Bank's computer algorithm to manipulate all markets that TWO forms of enormous pressure are building up in these totally fraudulent/surreal "markets".

First of all there is the individual pressures of ALL the various stocks, bonds, commodities, and other forms of trading between the actual/legitimate VALUE of these things, and their fantasy-price in our so-called markets. In some markets (particularly precious metals) this distortion in valuation is already so extreme that they require a "circuit-breaker" for this reason alone.

But there is a second, even greater COLLECTIVE pressure building in these markets. This comes from the fact that the Master Trading Program moves all these markets, in LOCK-STEP, in essentially a brute-force manner.

It is TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE for markets to naturally move in such synchronicity, because the relative value between all these goods, commodities, and financial instruments is constantly changing. But the Master Trading Program practically never allows any adjustment of these relative values.

We now no longer have the slightest idea of the REAL value of gold in relation to wheat, or copper in relation to oil, or (fresh) water in relation to land. All of these prices have been completely perverted by the One Bank, thus the need for these (absurd) "circuit-breakers" -- yet another perversion of our supposed "free markets", yet another reason why they should NEVER have allowed these "trading algorithms" into our markets.

All that they do is exactly what the name suggests. They cause a market to INSTANTANEOUSLY shut-down, entirely, the moment that any price(s) moves beyond the "allowable range".

Here's the irony. As the Thieves and the Traitor Politicians install these limitations into our own markets, they have always (smugly) pointed to the "circuit-breakers" which (for example) China has in its own markets as reflecting the "immaturity" and "inferiority" of China's markets.

Guess they can't say that any more...

Where this is heading is that when things are just about to fall apart completely, we'll likely start to see these circuit-breakers (lol) being "triggered" on a near-daily basis, whereas now it's more like a monthly occurrence.

P.S. I can't talk about "demonizing" people and divide-and-conquer without mentioning a particularly despicable HATE CRIME in North America which is classified as not only "entertainment" but "humor".

What I'm referring to is the disgusting bigot/ventriloquist: Jeff Dunham. For people who have not watched/listened to his hate-crimes masquerading as comedy; one of Dunham's puppets is a stereotypical, "crazy" Arab (terrorist).

Of course (especially in the U.S.); we're bombarded with this offensive stereotype so often that Dunham wouldn't even merit mention for his own hate-crime on that basis alone. What makes Dunham's hate-crime particularly egregious is that the "Arab" puppet isn't HUMAN. It is some skeletal MONSTER.

I understand how brainwashed our societies are against Muslims in general, and Arabs, in particular. So let me EXPLAIN this hate-crime via substitution -- through using one of society's PROTECTED/FAVORED demographics. Imagine the MASSIVE, PUUBLIC OUTRAGE (and near-instantaneous censorship) which would occur if Dunham created a "crazy", non-human puppet and identified that puppet as "a feminist" or (worse) "a Jew".

Not only would Dunham's bigoted "entertainment" be instantly banned throughout North America (and the entire Western world); almost certainly he would face prosecution for his Hate Crime.

But when the Hate Crime is committed against "crazy" Arabs, in brainwashed North America; it's called "humor".

Pure gobbledy-gook. This is what inevitably happens any time any one talks about any ideology. I would look like just as much of an idiot if I started spouting this drivel.

None of these "ideologies" means anything. Or, put another way; they mean a DIFFERENT thing to EVERY person. Thus all of these ideology-based rants follow the same inane/idiotic pattern.

What is the first thing which this Ideologue does? He "defines" the ideology, in this case socialism. Is this the "objective definition" of socialism? NO. There is no objective definition, other than the vague, facile mantra of "share the wealth".

EVERYTHING else about this so-called ideology is customized by whatever talking-head is currently engaged in this pointless activity. How do other ideologues "reply" to this gobbledy-gook? They either agree with the definition, or create their own definition.

No communication takes place. No "meeting of minds" ever occurs (except between Ideologues belonging to the same Splinter). With EVERYONE outside of their Splinter; talking "ideology" only creates confusion, discord, and (finally/ultimately) WAR. Replying (directly) to any analysis of "socialism" (or "capitalism" or "communism") is no different (or more productive) than discussing the definition of a "Jabberwocky".

Like the Jabberwocky; no ideology has ever existed in the world in "pure" form" -- except the one ideology which actually exists in the real world: fascism.

Why is fascism the "exception that proves the rule"? Because fascism is nothing more than those on Top forming a Crime Syndicate to steal from everyone else. And "crime syndicate" is the only ideological construct which we all understand (and the only one which actually exists).

Lol TA!

More total surreality. Telling us every day (out of one side of their mouths) that not only is "everything under control", but "things are getting better" -- for the "economies", just not the people living in those economies.

Meanwhile, out of the other side of their mouths; they tell us about the "circuit-breakers" they have installed in all our markets -- so they don't spiral wildly out-of-control in less than a second. Just a couple of points I want to cover. First of all; we have seen bullion prices bounce higher with more vigor recently than we have seen since we entered the era of full Hostage Markets. Obviously the current price levels are nothing to be pleased about ($1230/oz USD for gold, and just over $17/oz USD for silver). Pretty dismal, given that the USD hasn't had any value at all for at least 4 years -- and gold and silver are (as we know) real "money", with real value.

But the flip-side to absurdly suppressed/manipulated prices for bullion is explosive demand. While most of the "explosion" (and thus interesting data) originates in the East; occasionally we see glimpses of this in the West, as well. The obvious example are the "final" sales figures for the U.S. Mint for 2014, since it has finished supplying its dealer network for this year.

We see another new record for total sales of U.S. minted silver coins: over 43 million sold this year, edging the previous record set last year. But to put this in real perspective, I want to look back several years -- to 2008 (the "crash" year).

That was the first year of "record" sales of minted silver coins where the precious metals community first began focusing on this aspect of bullion demand. In that year of "record sales" the total quantity of coins sold was well below 30 million. This was despite the fact that (at the bottom) investors were able to buy their silver coins with a spot-price below $10/oz.

Flash ahead six years, to the latest year of "record sales" of minted silver coins and we see total sales (in ounces) has increased by roughly 50% since 2008 -- even though (in 2014) investors had to spend nearly DOUBLE the (nominal) price to purchase their coins. This means that (in 2014) investors are spending nearly THREE TIMES as many paper dollars buying silver this year -- as they did in the "panic" of 2008.

There are (at least) two conclusions which are suggested by this data. First and foremost; this is a testament to how much VALUE the U.S. dollar has lost over those past 6 years. There is not much reason to believe that the investing community is any smarter (in general) today than they were 6 years ago. Yet they are willing to spend three times as many dollars -- just to purchase 50% more coins (ounces).

The other conclusion suggested by these numbers is that the knowledgeable investors (who comprise the bulk of this silver-coin buying) see our (mostly) INVISIBLE economic crisis of today -- camouflaged with mountains of ridiculous propaganda -- as being far more worrisome than the Crash of '08.

I can still personally remember the sense of feeling "shell-shocked" back then, as markets crashed (rapidly) all around us. So what does it say as a general commentary on the economic management of our Traitor Leaders that the same people who were "spooked" (and responded intelligently) back in 2008 are, apparently, much more worried today?

Between "greater fear" and "debauched currencies"; we have the bulk of our explanation for the tripling in silver-coin buying (measured in dollars) since 2008.

As for the gold market; 2014 sales of minted coins were actually below last year's totals. But we need to attach an "asterisk" to this piece of information. What can't be forgotten was that 2013 was the year of the Cyprus Steal (the birth of the odious "bail-in") -- which sparked the massive exodus out of the utterly fraudulent paper-called-gold market.

As I reported (several times) during that scenario; much of the (physical) gold-buying of that year was the Smart Money dumping their paper-called-gold -- and moving their wealth into real, physical bullion. Obviously much of those Smart Money dollars would have gone into the purchase of Gold Eagles.

Thus this explains the 2013 explosion of minted gold coin sales. There was no exodus out of the paper-called-silver market in 2013. As readers will recall; this led me to the simple conclusion that (by 2013) there was already no "smart" money left in this utterly obvious fraud.

So it's no surprise that there was a significant drop-off in sales of minted gold coins this year. Expressed in ounces of gold; investors bought roughly 60% more coins in 2013 than this year -- even though they paid (on average) at least 10% more for those coins this year. But note how significant the buying of gold coins remains, even after this drop-off.

There were 43 million silver coins sold this year, and roughly 1.1 million gold coins -- about a 40:1 ratio. However, the price ratio between silver and gold this year has averaged over 60:1 (well over). This means that in terms of dollars; investors spent roughly 1/3 more buying gold coins than silver coins.

So let summarize here; since I've thrown around a lot of numbers. Any way we look at it; 2014 demand for minted silver coins can be considered nothing less than "rabid". And the buying of gold coins this year was roughly 1/3 more rabid.

In overall terms; this is nothing but a vivid indication of the collapse in confidence in our current system (within the sliver of our Zombie societies who understand what is happening). The final point to make here is that though this is U.S. sales we're discussing (and minted coin sales in Canada are also very strong); this does not mean that all the buyers (or even most of them) are North Americans.

It would not be surprising (at all) if a considerable amount of this coin-buying originated in Asia (or perhaps Russia). It is also a distinct possibility that a significant chunk of this buying could be clandestine purchases by Eastern GOVERNMENTS.

Remember that these minted gold/silver coins are LEGAL TENDER CURRENCY, official (real/legitimate) money, in bankrupt societies where the existing paper currency MUST collapse to near-zero, and in the not-too-distant future. Obviously having "foreign currency" reserves of metallic, real money is far superior to governments than having "reserves" of soon-to-be-worthless paper.

Thus the bottom-line is that we know the Buyers in this market are much more "motivated shoppers" in 2014 than they were in 2008. What we don't know (with any degree of certainty) is who those buyers really are...

U.S. Mint Sets New Record, Selling 43 Million Silver Coins In 2014

The U.S. Mint has set a new sales record for the year for its American Eagle silver bullion coins.

The sales record, which was set in 2013, was broken on Monday as the Mint announced that it had sold 495,500 coins during the day. However, the Mint updates its monthly sales daily; since Monday, sales have remained strong and as of Tuesday the U.S. Mint had sold 43.051 million silver coins, handily beating last year’s record of 42.675 million coins...
